  I went to the clinic and had no insurance. I asked the receptionist how much the appointment would be and was told it would be $100. During the appointment, I only wanted the doctor to see if my hand was infected (as I had recently had surgery). The doctor did not perform any tests (as she said they would be too expensive) and literally told me that I should have gone to a specialist because she was not an expert on these things. She did tell me that the hand seemed fine and that it was not warm so most likely there was no infection, but that the only way to be certain was to do an expensive test. I declined and thanked her. A couple of days later I received in the mail a bill for an outstanding amount of $164.00. The doctor had charged me a rate III consultation (which is the most expensive rate). I tried going to the clinic and explaining to them that 1. I was never told there could be an additional charge 2. Why WAS there an additional charge if the doctor performed no analysis? I do not plan to pay this bill and have already complained to the BBB.

  I am new to Cigna Kelsey Seybold and I am impressed with the costumer service in the front office and the representatives over the phone. They explained how there are many clinics all over Houston and gave me additional information. The wait was not long for my OB and he(Dr. Isom) is by far one of the most companionate and knowledgeable doctors I have seen. I normally only have my doctors be women but I felt very comfortable during the visit and felt when he said he would take care of me, he meant it. I want to personally thank his nurse Gina, when I stressed to her the urgency of my situation and the excruciating pain I am in, she was very understanding. I highly recommend this office.
