- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dear Terrie, I am writing to you to say thank you for going so far and above what your profession as an escrow officer asks on the recent closing for 3431 Village Pond Lane. To reschedule your Friday evening and remain at title waiting to close the buyer who arrived at 6:40 p.m. when title closes at 5p.m. is simply unbelievable. The fact is, it should have been rescheduled to another day because you had not been asked or had not agreed to remain to such a late hour. That would have meant the buyer would have been in default on the contract and would have potentially lost the property deal or it would have to go back through underwriting reworked through lender & title.
