  Over a month ago I had an appointment with Dr. Scott McKnight. After searching through many doctors on my insurance website I felt that he would be a good doctor. However, my visit to the office was not that pleasurable . He did not seem to have very good bedside manner, he wasn't friendly he seem to be very cold and calculating. I thought well maybe he's a good doctor some doctors don't have great personalities but they're good at what they do. I scheduled for a procedure almost 2 months out . I got a call today two days before my procedure telling me that my surgery has been canceled. I have to request over a month in advance to get time off of work. My daughter came from over 10 hours away to help me after my procedure. I made many other arrangements. The young lady that called me apologized and said she was new to them and didn't know the procedures at the surgery center. I felt bad for her but not bad enough to not make not be extremely upset. This doctors office made me feel like that I'm not important as a patient nor is my time important. I'm not sure if I will go through with the procedure with dr. McKnight or if I want to seek another doctor someone that makes me feel like I matter.
